but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever."

Pancho
Pancho
Pancho (originally named Taco) was rescued in
December 2021 and adopted soon after.
He is settling in very well with his new family.
When Mandy was rescued by our friend Maria in Mexico, she had a broken spine and leg.
Full of mange and ticks Mandy's outcome was not looking good. But miracles do happen and she was treated and had the will to live. She wasn’t supposed to be coming back to Canada this trip but someone really fell in love with her and Alaska airlines got us on a bigger plane so that we could bring back one more dog.
Coming back to Nelson she became a therapy dog for her foster mom who had long haul Covid. She was there for Carlie each and every day and slowly Carlie started to get better and her and Mandy went on a island adventure together. Oceans, forests cabins and many new friends, Mandy had a amazing time. After two months it was time to day “ goodbye” It’s the hardest part of fostering but Mandy is with June now who is retired and enjoying a life she probably did not ever expect. Happy trails Mandy, you have touched so many lives. We love you.
